Guillaume Letang, one of Boutinot’s winemakers based in France, cleverly sourced some of the juiciest fruit in the Languedoc to produce this wine. No oak is used in the vinification.
The black Grenache from the deep South of France is steeped in texture and character. Rich black fruit and sweet spice on the nose with more intense berry fruit and liquorice on the palate. An ideal partner to Mediterranean cooking, olives, crusty bread and tasty cheese, roasted vegetables and herb infused red meats.
The nose offers floral aromas of jasmine, lychee, and honey notes. The floral notes reappear on the palate, along with apricot, and mandarin orange. Medium bodied with good concentration and a refreshing ripe fruit finish. A Thai fighting delight!
Its sweetness makes this wine ideal as an aperitif served with mild cheeses, ham, and dried fruit and nuts. It is also excellent paired with sushi and fresh fruit desserts.
Deep ruby-red in colour with vibrant aromas of redcurrant and blackberries, elegantly combined with mild notes of white pepper. Medium-bodied on the palate with silky ripe tannins and a long, broad finish. An elegant wine that is easy to drink.
