The grapes are picked at optimal ripeness to balance fruit and acidity, with a thoughtful winemaking approach that blends partial fermentation in neutral oak with stainless steel ageing. Lees contact and 50% malolactic conversion add subtle texture and roundness, without losing the wine’s natural vibrancy.

Whilst packing up to move internationally a friend died and I needed to organise an emergency case of something luscious to support the wake. This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
