From The Tinned Fish Market which is based in Manchester. The owner is from Madrid, and knows all too well how tinned fish is revered as a delicacy in their home country, as it is in neighbouring Portugal and France, how the canneries use tried-and-true methods that are a century or more old and how the tins are as exquisite to look at as the fish inside tastes.
Harvested from Galician rivers, in northwest Spain, these scallops are complemented with a traditional Galician sauce of tomato, onion and white wine. Delicious stirred through fresh pasta.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
