A very unique white made with Palomino and Arinto.
A remarkable terroir-driven white full of interest. The grapes come from coastal vineyards in Sanlucar de Barrameda and El Puerto de Sata Maria, the former being the last vineyard before the beach.
It gets a light skin contact, barrel-fermentation, and is aged in ex-Sherry, chestnut barrels, for just a couple of months. The Palomino brings concentration, structure, and mouthfeel, while the Arinto adds a citrus vibrancy to lift everything. The wine is textural, saline, and superbly balanced. Quite aromatic, a little pithy, and super fresh with a low abv making it a wonderful easy drinker.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
