Domaine des Amphores is located in the town of Chavany, in the Saint-Joseph appellation of the Rhone Valley. Created in 1992, Philippe and Veronique Grenier have just 10 hectares of vines which are farmed organically.
Syrah is the main variety grown here and the 7 Lieux is an assemblage of seven parcels with different exposures and soils and vines of up to 50 years in age.
A lovely wine. It is very pretty on the nose, floral notes and blueberries. Long, concentrated fruit on the palate, juicy with a great finish.

Words can't express the brilliance of Butlers or the thoughtfulness, expertise and compassion of their team! Whilst packing up to move internationally a friend died and I needed to organise an emergency case of something luscious to support the wake. Not only did their wonderful team organise and deliver within an incredibly tight deadline they drafted a message for me too which I approved. Wonderful!!

Great Wine/Spirit shop with knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff
This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
