A Pinot Noir representative of the cool and windy microclimate of the Sonoma Coast AVA. The low yielding vines lend an intensity to the wine but retain a brightness of fruit. THe wine is aged in large neutral oak casks, stainless steel, and older French oak barrels to keep new oak flavors to a minimum.
Raspberry & strawberry fruit with some earthy forest floor aromas. Lively with bright acidity with some subtle notes of medicinal herbs and spices.
Works well will grilled or barbequed fish or poultry.

Whilst packing up to move internationally a friend died and I needed to organise an emergency case of something luscious to support the wake. This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
