Nestled in the northernmost corner of San Casciano, just a short drive south of Florence, Villa Le Corti is a historic estate spanning over 600 acres. At its heart lie 121 acres of Sangiovese vineyards, dedicated to producing refined Chianti Classico and IGT Principe Corsini wines.
Here, the slightly cooler climate and distinctive soils, rich in river stones and sand, lend the wines a notable elegance and finesse, setting them apart from the fuller, more powerful styles found further south. Earlier harvests help preserve freshness, resulting in wines that are vibrant, generous and beautifully expressive.
Expect classic Chianti character, with bright red berry fruit, lively acidity and a polished, graceful structure that makes these wines both versatile and effortlessly drinkable.

Whilst packing up to move internationally a friend died and I needed to organise an emergency case of something luscious to support the wake. Not only did their wonderful team organise and deliver within an incredibly tight deadline they drafted a message for me too which I approved. Wonderful!!

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
