Celebrate Valentine's day with Ridgeview

I don't know if it is just me, but I can feel a little passion in the air. Whether you like or loathe it, Valentine's day is just around the corner. Why not enhance or avoid it, by indulging in the delicious local sparkling wines from Ridgeview Estate.

We are offering Ridgeview Cavendish at a very reduced price of £19.95 across both Butler's shops and at Fourth & Church from Monday 8th to Sunday the 14th of February.

Cavendish is a traditional Champagne style blend, of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, with a small proportion of Chardonnay adding crispness. The wine has some richness, while remaining fresh and inviting. We love to drink it with Seafood, and at this price you can splash out and buy something special like scallops or lobster to go with it.

You can also drink Ridgeview Cavendish in at Fourth & Church for during the week £29.95 or £6.95 for a glass- especially delicious with their gravadlax.

Try Before you Buy

Tom Surgey from Ridgeview will be pouring Ridgeview Cavendish, Knightsbridge and Fitzrovia on Friday the 12th of February.  This is a great opportunity to find out more about the different wines and to taste them with him. He will be at Butler's Wine Cellar in Kemptown between 2.00-3.30pm and at Fourth & Church between 4.00-6.00pm. Please come down and see us.
As an added bonus if you buy a case of Ridgeview wines you will be entered into a draw to win a pair of VIP tickets for a private tour of the Ridgeview Estate. Entry into the draw excludes sales of Cavendish and applies to cases bought between the 8th and the 14th of February.

The skinny on orange wines

February 09, 2021

Of all the winemaking developments in the last couple of decades, the re-emergence of skin-contact wines may well be the most important. ‘Orange wines’ is the term most people have settled on, now that the style has found its niche and is edging towards the mainstream. If you haven’t yet come over to the orange side, here’s what you’re missing out on.
