The Badoz family have been making wine in Jura since 1659, passing down traditional winemaking techniques and local know-how from father to son.
Benoit Badoz represents the tenth generation of his wine making family. His wines both reflect the ‘Traditional’ styles of the region, including the famous Vin Jaune (Yellow Wine), whilst also keeping an eye to the future with his ‘New Generation’ wines.
This vibrant sparkling rosé is a beautifully balanced expression of fruit, freshness, and finesse. Bursting with floral notes and vivid red berry flavours, it opens with sharp raspberry and citrus aromas that lead into a palate of tart strawberries and juicy peaches. This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
