The grapes are grown on a sloping clay and gravel vineyard, only 500m from Chateau Petrus (sharing some of the special blue clay that makes Pomerol from this terroir so magical).
The blend spends10-12 months in barrel producing awine with vanilla and red-cherry aromas. On the palate the wine is soft and full, yet youthful with fresh red and blackberry fruits and a little tannic grip.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome.
