The Coteaux Bourguignons “Lettre d’Eloïse” Pinot Noir 2022 opens with bright red-berry aromas, cranberry, wild strawberry, and a hint of red cherry, lifted by subtle floral tones and a whisper of spice. On the palate it is supple and fresh, leaning toward finesse rather than weight, with finely textured tannins and a crisp, lively acidity that keeps the fruit vibrant. This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
