Orgo is a small family-owned winery that produces high quality wines made in traditional qvevri vessels (clay amphora) for vinification and maturation. The winery is run by Temuri Dakishvili, the Dakishvili family’s fourth generation winemaker. His father, Giorgi, is credited as one of the most skilled and influential winemakers in Georgia.
Rather than the orange wines commonly associated with Georgia, this is a white wine made in stainless steel. Delicious apricot and dried mango notes on the nose and a rich but dry palate make for a gastronomic white wine, perfect for pairing with flavoursome dishes. Crafted from a blend of native Georgian grape varieties – Rkatsiteli, Mtsvane, and Kisi – this wine is produced by the esteemed Dakishvili family, renowned as one of the foremost winemaking dynasties in Georgia today.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
