This innovative blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Rolle (Vermentino) from the sun-drenched vineyards of southern France offers a refreshing twist on classic white wines. Luscious exotic fruit aromas from Rolle complement the crisp, zesty character of Sauvignon Blanc, resulting in a beautifully aromatic and smooth dry white. Grown on alluvial sand and silt, the deep-rooted vines thrive in the region’s warm climate.
The grapes are harvested in the cool mornings, with Sauvignon picked a few weeks before the later-ripening Rolle. Cold maceration, gentle pressing, and fermentation on fine lees at controlled temperatures enhance the wine’s creamy texture while maintaining its vibrant freshness. Perfect as a chilled apéritif, it also pairs well with moules marinière, creamy chicken dishes, or fragrant Asian cuisine.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
