Recoleta refers to a residential area in Buenos Aires (which happens to be where Ava Peron is buried.
Made with the indigenous Criolla Grande grape (a cross between Criolla Chica and Muscat de Alexandria varietals).
A very satisfying wine with a pretty cherry and floral (jasmine) nose. On the palate there is a sour cherry tartness without the impression of under-ripe fruit. The wine has a good weight with bright acidity. This is a brilliant Pinot Noir alternative.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
