🌈 Brighton Pride 2025: A Toast to Love, Liberation & Community

 

Each summer, Brighton becomes a sea of colour, music and celebration for one of the UK’s most iconic events: Brighton & Hove Pride. And in 2025, we’re prouder than ever to be part of it.

More than just a party, Pride is a powerful reminder of the LGBTQIA+ community’s strength, creativity, and resilience. It’s a celebration of how far we’ve come — and a call to keep moving forward. Pride honours lives, voices and identities that have too often been silenced, and transforms the streets into a joyful rebellion.

At Butler’s Wine Cellar, we’re all about championing individuality, diversity and community. We believe wine and drinks are about bringing people together, and what better occasion to raise a glass than Brighton Pride?

We’ve picked out some of our favourite fun, colourful and flavour-packed bottles to enjoy with friends during this fabulous weekend. Whether you’re heading to the parade, hosting a garden gathering, or simply toasting the rainbow from your balcony, these drinks are made to celebrate with.

 

360 Brewing Company – Sussex Haze (4.5%)

 

Start local, start hazy. This juicy Pale Ale from Sussex’s 360 Brewing Co. is a full-flavoured, low-bitterness beer perfect for Pride picnics or parade pit-stops. Expect soft tropical fruits, stone fruit notes and a gentle cloudiness that makes it ultra-refreshing. Easy-going and laid-back, just like a Brighton afternoon. Brewed just down the road, and built for inclusive community vibes.

 

Terre dei Buth Prosecco DOC Organic Frizzante NV

Pride means sparkle, and this lightly sparkling Prosecco brings all the fizz and none of the fuss. Made organically in Veneto by the Terre dei Buth family, this is clean, vibrant and bright with green apple, blossom and citrus zest. It’s lightly fizzy (Frizzante), making it ideal for casual sipping at street parties or al fresco brunches. 

 

Domaine Grandpré Cuvée Minotaure Rosé 2024

Rosé is practically the official wine of summer, and this one is as graceful as it is flavourful. From Provence’s sun-soaked vineyards, Cuvée Minotaure offers delicate notes of wild strawberry, white peach and rose petals, with a dry, mineral-driven finish. It's elegant without being too serious. Think open-air concerts, picnic baskets, park blankets and dancing barefoot on the grass. Pure summer joy in a glass. Monte Bernardi Fiasco! Vino Toscano NV – 1 Litre

A big bottle for big personalities. This litre of joy from Tuscany is rustic, juicy, and meant for sharing. The wine is Sangiovese-led, with vibrant red cherry and earthy spice — lively, friendly and a little rebellious. The traditional fiasco straw-covered bottle nods to heritage, but the style is modern and totally unpretentious. Chill it slightly, bring it to your Pride picnic, and pass it around, just like they do in Italy.

 

Casa Staibano Amalfi Limoncello – 25%

Bright, bold and full of sunshine, this Amalfi Coast Limoncello tastes like holiday freedom. Made using a family recipe with handpicked lemons, this is sunshine in a bottle. It’s the perfect sweet finish to your Pride celebration, poured ice-cold after dinner, splashed into prosecco, or turned into a refreshing spritz. If Brighton had an official digestif, this would be it.

 

Tapatio Blanco Tequila – 40%

Spirited and unapologetic, just like Pride. Tapatio Blanco is a high-quality, authentic tequila from the highlands of Jalisco, made by the legendary Camarena family. It’s aromatic, fresh and herbaceous with loads of clean agave flavour. Perfect for elevating your margaritas or enjoying in a straight-up sip with salt and lime. Bold, expressive and full of character — the kind of bottle that gets people dancing.
