Cantina Valle Isarco has brought together local winegrowers since 1961 and has become renowned for producing refined, terroir-driven wines that capture the distinctive character of this beautiful Alpine region.
This elegant Pinot Nero (also known as Pinot Noir) comes from the cool mountain vineyards of the Isarco Valley in northern Italy. The region’s dramatic shifts between warm days and cool nights help preserve the grape’s delicate aromas, purity of fruit and naturally vibrant acidity.
Light to medium-bodied, it offers an inviting combination of wild strawberry, red cherry and cranberry, with subtle hints of woodland herbs and gentle spice. Fine, delicate tannins and a refreshing lift make this an effortlessly drinkable Pinot Nero, with plenty of elegance and character.
A lovely match for duck, roast chicken, mushroom dishes or a selection of charcuterie.

Whilst packing up to move internationally a friend died and I needed to organise an emergency case of something luscious to support the wake. This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
