Located in the South Downs National Park, Coolhurst Vineyard is a family-owned estate that has been producing wine since 2010. The vineyard's south-facing slopes and chalky soils provide the ideal conditions for growing high-quality grapes that are used to create exceptional sparkling wines.
The Miller's Tale Blanc De Noirs 2018 is a testament to the vineyard's commitment to quality. Made from 100% Pinot Meunier using the Traditional Method. On the nose, this wine is characterized by aromas of ripe red fruits, including cherries and strawberries, with a subtle hint of toastiness. On the palate, the wine is lively and fresh, with a creamy mousse and flavours of red fruit and citrus. The finish is long and satisfying, leaving a crisp and refreshing aftertaste.
This wine is perfect for special occasions or simply as a treat for yourself. It pairs beautifully with seafood, particularly oysters, as well as light dishes such as salads and sushi.

Whilst packing up to move internationally a friend died and I needed to organise an emergency case of something luscious to support the wake. This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
