100% Pinot Noir from Domaine Bertrand. Grapes from each vineyard plot is vinified separately to capture the essence of the Côte Chalonnaise. Aged in oak barrels, 30% of which are new barrels.
For the 2022 vintage, Bertrand experimented with the use of egg-shaped tanks. This unique process keeps the wine in constant motion, which helps preserve the freshness and purity of the fruit.
A delightful, medium-bodied red Burgundy from Domaine Bertrand in the Côte Chalonnaise, showcasing ripe black fruit (cherry, cassis) and red fruit (raspberry) with elegant tannins, a smooth palate, and a fresh, balanced profile, reflecting the ripe yet balanced 2022 vintage, often with a hint of spice or earthiness, and praised for its expressiveness.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
