A balanced, classic vintage Champagne, more about finesse and structure than power. It feels youthful but already harmonious, and should gain extra depth with a few years of ageing.
Fine, steady bubbles and immediately inviting. On the nose you get crisp apple, pear and a bit of citrus zest, with some softer notes of white flowers and a light brioche touch coming through as it opens up.
On the palate it’s bright and lively, with that clean acidity carrying flavours of lemon, orchard fruit and a hint of peach, alongside a gentle toasted, slightly nutty edge.
It’s smooth without feeling heavy, and the finish is long, dry and refreshing, leaving a mix of citrus and a subtle creamy, mineral note that keeps you going back for another sip.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
