I Love Monsters, Our Halloween treat.

From now until Halloween we will be offering a 10% discount on this brilliant wine from Italy. No tricks here, all treat! Theres not much produced so get it quickly and enjoy!

The name "I love monsters" comes from the wineries line up of wines dedicated to older styles of wine making and things that are a little off piste.

Tenuta di Tavignano are based in the Marche region in central Italy, the vineyard was certified organic in 2015 and in the winery there is little intervention and low use of sulphur. For this wine there is no filtration and no sulphur used so the wine is vegan. Il Pestifero (Mischievous) is a blend of Verdicchio, Malvasia and Sangiovese. This is a pet nat style of wine, a method of production where the juice is bottled during fermentation so that it finishes  fermenting in the bottle, this creates a small fizz to the wine. 

Il Pestifero is delicious! Full of bright floral and citrus fruits, fresh acidity with a light fizz. 

Usually £19.99 it will be £18 until Halloween.

It was a fantastic day for me as I was the grateful recipient of a gift bottle of dessert wine from near to Mardi's family home, Morris of Rutherglen Topaque Muscat. But more importantly we also received a gift wrapped bottle of the new cuvee from Ridgeview, Ridgeview Single Vineyard Oak Reserve NV. Mardi announced that as we have been working with the family since almost the start, we would make a perfect retail partner for the independents sector, we are honoured and so pleased.
